We rarely get positive feedback from clients and most of the time we only hear from clients who have some issues. However, every day our work helps clients to get jobs, visas, licensure, and to pursue their study.
My wife June called JCC about putting her granddaughter into the early childhood care program and the Assistant Director upon hearing her name asked her if she is related to Josef Silny. When June said that Josef Silny is her husband, the Assistant Director said that JS&A saved her life. So then I called her to find out exactly what happened. She told me that she came from Argentina and had no idea how she is going to be able to get a job and support herself. Then someone told her about our company. She came, received excellent customer service, English translation and evaluation. Thanks to our work, she was able to get a job working with children and she used the same evaluation to be admitted for a Master’s degree at FIU. She recommends our company to anyone who can use our help.
Yesterday June was not feeling well, so finally early in the evening I took her to Urgent Baptist Care in Pinecrest. When the Doctor came in and found out our name, he shook my hand and said that we changed his life. He came from Cuba and someone told him about our company. We did his translation and evaluation and this helped him to get a job as a physician assistant. He worked and prepared for the required examinations which he passed and now he is a Doctor with Baptist Health South.
We rarely see the clients who benefited from our services so I wanted to share this with you.

JS&A presented at the Annual International Conference for the Community College Baccalaureate Association (CCBA) in Boston. Mr. Daryl Buford, a Senior Assistant Director of Evaluators at JS&A, shared information on particular foreign countries in order to develop ways to promote the community college baccalaureate degree.

The Florida Board of Nursing now requires foreign credential evaluations of nurses educated in Cuba. Applicants for an evaluation for the Florida Board of Nursing are required to submit their official orginal degree, transcript and course descriptions. Certified Professional Translations are required and this service is available from the Translation Department of JS&A.

We now offer Notarization of Copies of Original Documents.
This service is provided for individuals applying to the Florida Department of Education's Bureau of Educator Certification, Nova Southeastern University, or other agencies or schools requesting notarized copies of original educational documents. The fee for this service is $10.00 per document (diploma, transcript, etc.) Original documents must be presented with payment. If the service is requested by mail, a self-addressed and stamped envelope must be provided for the return of the original documents.

When we calculate grade point averages for international students we include all grades received by the student. For example, if a student received a grade of F in Chemistry and then repeated this course with a grade of C, we count both grades for the GPA. However, in order to accommodate the need of some of our college and university clients, effective July 1st we are going to include a second grade point average (at no additional cost to applicants), which will be calculated with only the best grade received in each subject. In the example stated above, we would only count the grade of C in Chemistry towards the GPA.
